1. Purpose

These terms and conditions of sale govern the Méthode Souffle support services, a mental preparation for childbirth for couples, provided by Amélie Paterne (“the Provider”) to any person acting as a consumer (“the Client”). Any booking implies acceptance of these terms.

2. Services

Support begins with a free 30-minute discovery session by phone. Support sessions last 1 h 30 and bring both partners together. They take place by video call, wherever you are, or in person in Brive-la-Gaillarde. Their number and frequency are agreed together according to your needs.

3. Price

The price is €80 per 1 h 30 session for the couple. The discovery session is free. The applicable price is the one shown on the website at the time of booking.

4. Booking

Sessions are booked online through the calendar on the Contact page (Calendly service) or by email to amelie@parentaliteenconscience.com. The booking is confirmed by the confirmation message received once the appointment is made.

5. Payment

Payment is made according to the terms indicated at the time of booking.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

The Client may cancel or reschedule a session free of charge up to 48 hours before it starts, by email or through the link in the confirmation message. After that, the session is due, except in cases of force majeure.

If the Provider is unable to attend, the session is rescheduled to a date agreed together or, failing that, refunded if it has been paid.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Client has fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without giving reasons, by sending an unambiguous statement to amelie@parentaliteenconscience.com.

If the Client expressly asks for the service to begin before the end of this period, the Client remains liable, in the event of withdrawal, for an amount proportionate to the service provided until the decision is communicated (Article L221-25). The right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised for a service fully performed before the end of the period, where performance began with the Client’s prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28).

8. Nature of the support

The Méthode Souffle is mental preparation support. It is not a medical procedure: it makes no diagnosis, prescribes no treatment and does not replace pregnancy care by a midwife or a doctor. No result regarding the course of the birth can be guaranteed.

9. Liability

The Provider is bound by an obligation of means. She cannot be held liable for an interrupted video session due to the Client’s connection or equipment, nor for decisions made by the Client about their health and medical care.

10. Intellectual property

The Méthode Souffle, its content and the materials provided during sessions remain the property of the Provider. They are reserved for the Client’s personal use and may not be reproduced or distributed without her express permission.

11. Personal data

The Client’s personal data is processed in accordance with the website’s privacy policy, available at the bottom of every page.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution before any legal action. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
